Formed in 2006, the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium (VPLC) encourages the study and enjoyment of books and promotes cooperation among all types of libraries on the Peninsula. 

By presenting free and open-to-the-public events by best-selling and award-winning authors, the VPLC offers cultural experiences that many community residents otherwise would not have access to and encourages reading and community discussions about books.

Your help is needed to allow the Consortium to continue to present author events free to the public. You can make tax-deductible donations and get special benefits.

You may make your donation to the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium through the Newport News Public Library Foundation. You must specify that you want your donation to be used for the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium.

By check: Complete the donation form and on the line for "I wish for my donation to be designated for," write Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium. Please mail your check or money order, and the form to the address located at the bottom of the form.
